So Far So Good

Sad to say but my Gibbs needs to lose a few pounds. After a few misses he has finally come across a diet food he really loves! HILLS SCIENCE PERFECT WEIGHT makes him a happy boy. As an added treat, he likes a tiny bit of the same wet food added to the dry kibble. He has only been on this diet for a few short weeks so I cannot yet report on his progress but as far as the taste, that has been half the battle for him so it's a win so far!

Waste of money

My dog absolutely hates this food. She has refused to eat it at all. I am having to order a bag of her normal food (the sensitive stomach formula by hills) because I can't get her to eat. She is not normally a picky eater so I am very surprised. I don't know if the flavor of this food is just weird, but I would not recommend it. Or buy the smallest bag till you know if your dog likes it.

Unsure if it's helped my dogs weight yet it's only been 2 weeks but the stool output has increased exponentially! So much so that my dog has started pooping in the house which he's never done in 10 years. He used to go 2x day now I'd say 5x day. At least it's firm but wow. Not sure I'll continue once bag is done.

After we adopted Abel (the 1st 2 years of his life were not good), we loved him with food. The vet said he was too chubby. With Science Perfect Weight, Abel has lost a few pounds and loves it.

I bought this for my dog, Chevy. This Hill's kibble is only 9% crude fat. The previous kibble we used was 14% crude fat. Haven't seen any weight loss yet, but hoping for positive results in 2 months or so. I mixed the new kibble with the old kibble. Chevy likes the taste and no adverse reactions to the change.

I liked the fact that with ordering, I didn't have to lug the bag from the store, it was on my porch. But disappointed that the price was the same as the local pet supply store, it wasn't cheaper.

We've tried several weight control dog foods and most of them our dog rejected immediately - but she loves this one and eats it all up quickly! She's a bit overweight for a 9-year old dog, and we hope this will help her to shed a few pounds.

We used Hill's Science Diet years ago with my 130# German Shepherd and it helped him lose weight so now we're using it again with our 100# Shepherd. They seem to gain weight as they age. Luka is 9 years old and gaining weight so we're using Hills again.

The past 60 days been trying this food for my dog. He needs to lose 25 pounds. Did not want to move around alot. So we started with this brand and have notices some changes in the past two months. He has loss some weight estimate 5 pounds. But he started to pick up energy. We started to jog together and he seems to show interest again. The meal seems good and he enjoys eating it the dry food. Pricing a bit higher then other brands, but getting back in shape will be worth it in tge long run. Hill's Science seems to be backing what its advertising.
